  1.                "CREATIVITY PACKAGE" - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  4. The "Creativity package" consists of three disks. Disk #1 contains Thomas
  5. A. Easton's book, "Think Thunder! And Unleash Your Creativity". Disk #2
  6. contains the program THUNDER THOUGHT, and disk #3 contains the program
  7. VERSIFIER.
  8.  
  9. BEFORE YOU START: Please make backup copies of all three disks. Put the
  10. original disks in a safe place and use the backups for your work. See the
  11. DISKCOPY command in your DOS manual.
  12.  
  13. HARD DISK USERS: You can copy all the files from the three disks to your
  14. hard disk (perhaps into a directory named THUNDER). Instructions which refer
  15. to different disks and the A> prompt can also be run from your hard disk at
  16. the C> prompt.
  17.  
  18. FLOPPY DISK USERS: The instructions given assume that you have started up
  19. your computer and that you will place the disk to be used in the A drive.
  20.  
  21. TO READ THE BOOK: Use disk #1. Type "READIT" and press <ENTER>. The book,
  22. "Think Thunder! And Unleash Your Creativity" will be displayed in screen,
  23. one section at a time. Instructions for the program, THUNDER THOUGHT, are
  24. in Chapter 1. You can use the <PgDn> and <PgUp> keys or the up and down
  25. arrow keys to scroll through the text. When you have finished reading a
  26. chapter, press the <ESC> key to go on to the next chapter. At this point
  27. you will see a message informing you that you can press <CTRL><C> if you
  28. want to stop reading. To read only one chapter, enter the commaned "BROWSE
  29. FILE". (Instead of "FILE" use the name of whichever chapter you wish to
  30. read.) Use the <ESC> key to exit BROWSE.

  32. Note that the instructions for each program are also on the disk with the
  33. program: THUNDER.DOC on disk #2, and VERSE.DOC on disk #3.

  35. TO PRINT THE BOOK: Use disk #1. Type "PRINTIT" and press <ENTER>. The text
  36. will be sent to your printer, one section at a time. At the end of each
  37. chapter, you will see a message on screen giving you the option of pressing
  38. <ENTER> to print the next chapter, or pressing <CTRL><C> to stop printing.
  39. To print only one chapter, enter the command "TYPE FILE > LPT1:". (Instead
  40. of "FILE" use the name of the chapter you want to print.") You can also
  41. view and print the chapters using your word processor.

  43. TO USE THUNDER THOUGHT: Use disk #2. Enter the command "THUNDER". Follow
  44. the instructions as outlined in Chapter 1. (The instructions also appear on
  45. disk in a file called THUNDOC.COM.) You can also get help while
  46. running the progrm by pressing the <F1> key.

  48. TO USE VERSIFIER: Use disk #3. Enter the command "VERSE". Instructions are
  49. on disk in the file called VERSEDOC.COM.
